Before playing an exhibition game the Adult Futsal team gave a clinic to coaches and referees in order to commemorate the opening of the Jose Coronado Memorial Futsal league 2000. In the game World United beat Giffoni 8 to 3.

In the LA Invitational, the Adult Futsal squad took the first place trophy by beating Giffone 5 to 3.

Vava just returned from Singapore where the US Futsal Team competed in the Tiger Cup. In the first game the US beat Korea 4 x 0 and tied Holland 5 x 5 in the second game. Because Holland beat Korea 9 x 0 the US team did not qualify for the semifinal round
